Veterinary technology students at
MCC-Maple Woods were presented with engraved stethoscopes as part of the
Heart of America Kennel Club, Inc. – Bob and Judy Goodin Vet Tech Endowment from kennel club member Dick Rees.
The stethoscopes are awarded to every first-year
vet tech student to offset the cost of the program. Also awarded in the endowment is a $500 scholarship that is presented each fall and spring based on academic success, financial need and a personal essay.
Dr. Chris Morrow was also presented with a state-of-the-art cardiology stethoscope for use by the instructors in lab settings.
