More than 50 employers in the area attended a Job Accommodation Network (JAN) webinar at MCC-Penn Valley on Wednesday. The event was hosted by the US Department of Labor Office of Federal Contract Compliance and Penn Valley's Student Employment Services Department. Attendees included: MCC Access Counselors, Children's Mercy Hospital, Commerce Bank, Blount, Helping Hand of Goodwill, Gear, Ferrel Gas, KU Medical Center, City of Kansas City, Missouri, Brotherhood Bank & Trust, and HNTB.
The webinar discussed accommodations for people with disabilities in the workplace.
