Dawn Hatterman has been selected to fill the position of Associate Dean at MCC-Maple Woods. She will begin her new role July 1, 2011. She will replace current Associate Dean Lynn Barron, who is retiring after a decade of dedicated service to Maple Woods.
Dawn began her career at Maple Woods in 1990 as a College Relations Coordinator. She also served as an Academic Advisor and Interim Evening College Supervisor before filling the position of Registrar in 1998. She holds a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies from the University of Missouri – Kansas City and a Bachelor of Science in Interpersonal Communication from Nebraska Wesleyan University.
Dawn is a dedicated professional who is focused on providing support and guidance to students at multiple points in their college careers. She sees the MCC mission of Preparing Students, Serving Communities and Creating Opportunities as the foundation of her daily work.
