The MCC Foundation last month welcomed a new member to the board of directors: Cici Rojas, a prominent civic leader and advocate for the Latino community in Kansas City and across the U.S.
Rojas is the vice president of community engagement for Truman Medical Centers, where she oversees employee enrichment and training, health and wellness, community relations and strategic innovation. Prior to her work at TMC, Rojas served as president and CEO of both the Greater Kansas City and the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chambers of Commerce. She also was vice president of
strategic alliance with the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
Rojas is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City and has completed leadership development programs through the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Harvard Business School and the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. She is involved in a number of local and national civic organizations, including Hope House, Mattie Rhodes Center, the National Multi-cultural Advisory Council and the Heartland Women’s Leadership Council, among others.
Rojas will serve a three-year term on the MCC Foundation board of directors.
