Enrollment and Weather

Because of MCC Campus closings today, Jan. 20, 2011, the last date for on-line student enrollment will be extended to Tuesday of next week (Jan. 25 at 11:59 a.m.) in order to accommodate Tuesday/Thursday class enrollment. Campus enrollment would also be allowed until that time so that it matches student self service on-line enrollment.

Nursing will accept applications postmarked on Jan. 20th

The deadline for the Associate Degree Nursing application is Jan. 20. In case the MCC-Penn Valley Health Science Institute is closed due to expected bad weather conditions, applications that are postmarked on Jan. 20 will be accepted.

Weather closings – Whether or not?

As we enter the season for winter weather, MCC wants to inform every one of the places to find campus closing information.

If a decision has been made for a campus/all campuses to close, information will be posted by the MCC Command Center in the following places:

Text message alert (for those opted in)
MCC Web page announcement – front page
All employee/student email
Blackboard announcement
Employee voice mail message

Students and employees can also tune in to their local news stations/websites for a list of campus closings.

As in the past, the Administrative Center will close if MCC-Penn Valley closes.
