In celebration of Black History Month, MCC-Maple Woods will host the El Shaddai Sanctuary Choir, featuring Marvin Jackson, at 7 p.m. Feb. 28 in the MCC-Maple Woods Student Center. This event is free and open to the public. The El Shaddai Sanctuary Choir is part of the El Shaddai International Ministries, established in Grandview, Mo., in 2000 by Pastor Marvin J. Jackson. The church serves the local community through a variety of outreach programs, including Bible studies for various age groups, Now Faith TV and the music ministry of the choir.
