Mike Sweetland serves his students and country with pride. Sweetland teaches chemistry at MCC-Penn Valley and serves in the Missouri National Guard.
Sweetland goes above and beyond with his military duties and recently committed to improving science education for children in other countries. His latest initiative is a fundraiser to raise money for a chemistry course designed to bond Serbian and Albanian youth.
