Gerald Patience, retired instructor, grilled 'dogs in the parking lot Friday with full Chiefs tailgating regalia. A potluck lunch at MCC-Business & Technology with a Red Friday theme was a farewell celebration for Julie Riemann. She will begin a new job Monday, Oct. 4, as program director in the Student Success Center at St. Louis University's Medical Center.
Riemann has been an academic advisor at MCC for the past five years. She was a former president of the BTC Staff Association, an active member of District Staff Council and was currently DSC president. Beverly Jennings, instructional services coordinator at MCC-Maple Woods, is the DSC president-elect; she will take the leadership role for the remainder of Riemann's term.
