MCC-Business & Technology hosts pancake feast for students

Above, HVAC student Mike Douglas shovels in a heaping plate of pancakes during a collective sugar-rush at MCC-Business & Technology Wednesday, Sept. 1.

"The Line Tech students ate more than any other group, by far," said Kristen Brumley, student services coordinator and organizer of the pancake breakfast. "I expect those young men and women were buzzing up and down the poles this morning."

Caterer and entertainer, Chris Cakes served over 600 pancakes in two hours. Mr. Cakes mesmerized the crowd as he managed to simultaneously cook massive numbers of pancakes, talk smack to all those waiting, and precisely hurl flapjacks 15ft to the plates of hungry students in line.

In addition to a belly ache, students also received information about upcoming campus events, information about the job placement services at Business & Technology Campus, and a new student handbook.
