Free Chris Cakes pancakes can draw a crowd. In fact, the crowd was so large on Thursday at MCC-Longview that pancakes went flying off the grill - literally.
After stopping at the MCC-Business & Technology campus earlier in the week, Chris Cakes brought his ceiling-kissed flapjacks to Longview as part of campus life and leadership's welcome back events for students.
According to the man behind the griddle, students devoured more than 2,000 pancakes (give or take a few pancakes that might have missed the plate following their airborne trajectory).
