The countdown is over – tobacco-free MCC is here

The countdown to a tobacco-free community ended today as the new tobacco-free policy at MCC became effective. The new signage has been installed on all MCC properties to help increase awareness of the new policy.

The policy effectively prohibits the use of all tobacco products on any MCC property. This means all MCC grounds, leased properties and MCC vehicles being used for MCC business will be tobacco-free.

In part, the policy states: "tobacco and tobacco substitute products…on all campus premises, leased property, and college-owned vehicles is prohibited, with no exceptions. This policy applies to all students, employees, tenants, subtenants, contractors, and visitors."

For more information visit the tobacco-free website.
