Genea Wilson, administrative assistant for the social science division at MCC-Longview, has been recognized in the national publication Administrative Professional Today. The newsletter, which is sent to businesses and organizations across the country, published her ideas for “time-saving shortcuts” that she has used in her own work at Longview.
Wilson’s use of large red folders to catch faculty’s attention and reminder “nag notes” with a graphic of an old broken-down horse attached help motivate faculty to return their administrative work to Wilson on time.
